Trainers would prefer some vocational experience within the Industry, either employed/voluntary but this is not mandatory.


This course is delivered via ‘Flexible Learning’ from home. Students will complete 17 workbooks comprised of 12 Core units and 5 electives.

Working from home means you can go at your own pace and will enable your studies to fit in well with your other commitments. We do ask that students to make themselves available to catch up with trainers regularly to assess their progress. Students can complete their studies either through workbooks or online.

This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of education settings, including public and independent schools and community education settings, who provide assistance and support to teachers and students under broad-based supervision.

This course includes 100 hours of work placement that will arm you with valuable on job experience.
